Overeem was founded in 2007 by Tasmanian whisky pioneer Casey Overeem, who had been researching and experimenting with distillation since his first exposure to it in Norway in the 1980s. Today, Jane Overeem and her husband Mark continue Casey’s legacy, following the principles on which Overeem Distillery was founded.

Today they are one of only a select few Australian distilleries that have the opportunity to showcase whisky over a decade old. This makes it a must try for all those looking to experience part of Tasmanias whisky history.
