The first distillery to receive a license in Tasmania since 1839. Bill and Lyn Lark started distilling and laying down casks in 1992, since these humble begginings the Lark brand has become one of the most recognisable not only in Tasmania but all over Australia. Growing to now have multiple distillery locations its hard to know where to look and visit, but our recommendation is the newest of these, the Shene Estate acquired in 2021 this heritage site is a must visit while here in Tasmania of its amazing heritage architecture and great whisky offerings.
