Hellyers Road was the third distillery founded in Tasmania, originally established by a group of dairy farmers, maintaining close ties to the local industry as it sits behind a large dairy facility.

The distillery offers the "Whisky Walk" experience for visitors, which includes learning about Hellyers Road's story and whisky style, and seeing the unique "secret Still." Additionally, it is one of the few distilleries to have restaurant/cafe on-site, making it a great stop for those exploring the northwest region.
